is more than childcare.
Who
Two New Hands Family Helpers are hired by the owner Nancy Demirci to ensure each helper who works with you values helpfulness, kindness, respect and professionalism. Additionally, each helper has a background working with babies and children. In the selection process they are chosen for truly enjoying being helpful and spending time with families. Two New Hands Family Helpers have been individually interviewed, provided references, consented to a background check, are CPR-certified and attended a Two New Hands Family Helpers orientation. All Two New Hands Family Helpers continue to have support and ongoing education.
Characteristics of Family Helpers are:
• Eagerness to be helpful and enjoying spending timing with babies and children.
• Bringing a positive attitude and outlook to work.
• Professionalism: respectful of time and personal space.
• Strong communicators: ask questions when unsure and seeks clarification whenever possible.

What
A Two New Hand Family Helper is an extra set of eager and helpful hands at home and could just be the gift we are looking for. Maybe it’s some laundry being done, the sink with no dirty dishes or someone to help the little one(s) while you tend to important tasks.
What we help with:
Watching over the kids.
Childcare - keeping children entertained and safe (while you are home or out running an errand)
The things that pile up.
Laundry: washing, folding and putting away. Dishes: washing, drying and putting away, Tidying the kid’s area: putting away toys. Light meal prep: washing, cutting, heating up food for your family.

Parents have a tendency to put others first, but in doing so sometimes can neglect some of their most basic needs.
Owner Nancy Demirci in her work with families kept seeing the need for more help at home, but not just with watching over the kids…

Two New Hands was created so families could have the type of support they really needed! Allowing you to spend more quality time with the kids, run needed errands or tend to other things!

Serving families in Westchester, the Greater Hudson Valley, Southern Connecticut and New York City.
Helpers typically work in your home (while you are home) or while you run errands.
