Nancy Demirci, Owner

Nancy Demirci is the owner and operator of Two New Hands (TNH). When she is not running Two New Hands, she is a Full Spectrum Doula and parenting guide for families. With grace, compassion, experience, and heart Nancy provides care for families in the tri-state area in both her role as owner of TNH and as a doula.
Nancy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Brooklyn College. She is CAPPA(Childcare and Postpartum Professional Association)-and CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor)- Trained, is CPR-Certified, and is an active member of Hudson Valley Birth Network.
She has 15+ years of experience in the childcare industry having worked as a nanny, consultant to nanny agencies, and mentoring nannies. Having worked with countless families in New York City, Nancy has been exposed to all types of family dynamics and feels confident she can help connect the right Family Helper to a family.
Nancy's passion for helping others started with her involvement with non-profits organizations in New York City. During that time she found her niche in connecting immigrant high school students with young professionals who can mentor them.
Nancy is excited to start the next chapter of her life owning a business where she can make a difference in so many families lives.
She lives in Tarrytown, NY with her husband and loves all the nature the Hudson Valley offers.
Maggie Rosenfeld , Founder

Maggie was very excited to create Two New Hands in 2019 and is so happy to continue to bring support to the company from the sidelines. Regardless of the “type” of work she is involved in, Maggie is invested in connecting with others, learning from others and if a shared reality exists – creating with others. Maggie has been of service as a birth and postpartum Doula to birthing people, families and babies since 2015.
In supporting hundreds of families in her work as a birth and postpartum doula, Maggie kept hearing the same need over and over: Families needed a Family Helper/mothers helper. As families evolve, extra support is always needed not just in the beginning, but for years to come. Connecting service-oriented people with your family to help ease some of the day to day events is the primary goal! She believes the more support we have is the more we have to offer others in our lives.
Nancy and Maggie met through the doula community in Westchester, NY.
When Maggie was ready to pass the baton to a new owner of Two New Hands, she knew Nancy was the perfect person. They both feel very grateful to have crossed paths and Maggie looks forward to seeing all the great things to come with Nancy at the helm!
